At the Rhein-Weser-Turm hiking portal, many other hiking trails converge in addition to the Rothaarsteig and offer the possibility of various hikes, such as the 13.5 km long circular trail on the Rhine-Weser watershed. An easy hiking tour is offered by the "Grenzgeschichten hautnah" From the Rhein-Weser-Turm to the Schwarzbachtal.
From the Rhein-Weser-Turm, a fantastic view opens up over the "Land of a Thousand Mountains" and an audio story provides insights into the history of the origin of the lookout tower. Refreshments are available at the Rothaarsteig-Berghotel Rhein-Weser-Turm as well as at the restaurant "Zur Hahnenquelle".
