Fantastic views and sights line the Golddorf Route, which begins at the peace oak in the federal gold village of Oberhenneborn and is marked throughout with a golden G on a red background. On the route parallel to the Ruttenberg, hikers cross the Sachmecke River and soon reach a rock - the "Henneborner Loreley". Between two giant spruces the tour leads down the valley to the SGV hut Oberhenneborn - and then steeply uphill. Every step is worth it, because at the top you have a fantastic view over the Hennetal! Passing a wayside shrine, the hikers then go around the Heyer Knochen to the Kreuz Chapel and finally return to Oberhenneborn along the bee nature trail.
A rescue point system is installed in the Hochsauerlandkreis. Rescue points can be found, among other things, on the information boards of the junctions and hiking signs. All signposts on this trail are designated as rescue points with official location numbers.
