Soul place hike Quarzklippen short

From the parking lot for hikers "Im Schwinkel" in the direction of the west on the Medebach Bergweg, continue along the farm in the direction of the sports field. The Bergweg leaves us in the bend to the right, but we follow the path past the sports field towards the country road. When we reach the country road, we continue straight ahead for about 100 m in a southerly direction. Then turn right and follow the hiking trail A1 for a bit. Pass the goat farm and immediately turn left towards the Geologischer Aufschluss. Approx. 200 m straight ahead you are exactly above the barite mine of Dreislar. Here you will already find isolated glittering barite crystals. Wenden to the right towards the north, a dirt road leads uphill for about 30 m until the small barite quarry becomes visible on the left hand side. This is where open pit mining took place to extract the valuable raw material from the depths. Linger a while at this place of power directly above the mine in Dreislar. Back the same way leads us to the street, this we go now along into the place. First we pass the St. Franziskus church, then we pass the Scherspat museum and continue slightly uphill. We leave the cemetery on the left and follow the Bergweg and the blue Höhneflugspur over the Dornröschenpfad to the wellness parking lot in the Schwinkel.
