After going around the Brilon Bürgerwald, the route goes up to the Brilon Poppenberg, above the ski slope, past the Hiebammen Hütte, back through the Hilbringsetal. The Hiebammen Hütte is open on weekends and absolutely recommendable.

Directions

From the parking lot straight across the road in the direction of Bürgerwald, go around it and continue in the direction of Brilon Poppenberg. From the entrance to the ski hut, the trail runs parallel with the Sonnenloipe until it turns left at the mountain cross in the direction of the Hiebammen Hütte and through the Hilbringsetal back to the starting point.
