Through the beautiful winter landscape the trail leads from the Stryck up to the Ettelsberg and through the paradise back to the starting point

Directions

From the Stryck, the first kilometer leads uphill to the start-up tower of the Mühlenkopfschanze. From there the trail leads to the "Große Grube", a prominent hiking junction. At an altitude of 800 m, the trail continues to the Lütteke Feld. From there the descent begins through the paradise back to the Strycktal. Passing the outlet of the Mühlenkopfschanze you reach the starting point.

Safty guidelines

Designated winter hiking trails are cleared or rolled. This may be somewhat delayed depending on the weather (heavy snowfall), as moving traffic has priority.

Public transiot

Bus/train to Willingen train station, continue with bus, stop at Abzweig Stryck or call shared cab (AST), stop at Abzweig Stryck or forest office

Getting there

By car via the B251 to Willingen (Upland) to the Stryck parking lot between Willingen and Usseln, turn off Stryck/Mühlenkopfschanze
