We hike over the Kreuzberg and the Hesborn trail through an extensive winter forest downhill to Züschen.

Directions

From the parking lot Stadthalle follow the street "Am Rad" uphill. Turn left into the "Hesborn Weg" in the direction of Züschen/Franzosenkreuz. Follow this past the Katerkopf as well as over the Franzosenkreuz to the "Alten Weg" down to Züschen to the natural monument "Dicke Linde".

Safty guidelines

Make sure you have good footwear. Winter boots with good tread or with snow claws are particularly suitable. Dress appropriately for the weather. Take a cell phone with you in case of emergency. Use trekking poles, which will give you a secure grip on snow and ice. Keep in mind that walking time on snow may increase. There may be icy spots on sunny slopes.
