In addition to the tourist information office, the Haus des Gastes also houses a café and a Nature Park Information Center (NIZ). A multitouch table is loaded with interesting facts about the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park and invites visitors to explore the region digitally.
With the “Entdecker” backpacks, visitors can put what they’ve learned into practice right in the surrounding area. Right next to the Haus des Gastes is a spacious spa park that invites visitors to relax and unwind. The Rothaarsteig trail’s Oberhundemer mountain tour also begins and ends at the Haus des Gastes.
