Hikers' parking lot at Stertschultenhof in Cobbenrode
Walk through the village of Cobbenrode in the Eslohe vacation region.
The circular route starts at Stertschultenhof. We cross the main road and turn left onto the cycle path towards Eslohe. After approx. 400 m we reach the fish pond / biotope. Canadian wild ducks can occasionally be seen here (please do not feed them).The way back is via the cycle path in the direction of Cobbenrode, past the old forge from 1888, then left into Birkenstraße. After a few meters, follow the sign "Alte Mühle/Backhaus" to the left and then along the mill pond to the road "Am Papeloer".Continue slightly uphill on the left until you are above the two multi-family houses, then turn diagonally right and cross Birkenstraße.Now go down Birkenstraße again and turn left towards the center of the village to Esselbach. Continue through the village park with the Esselbach stream to "Hohle Straße" and slightly uphill towards the church. Follow "Olpe Straße" in the direction of Stertschultenhof and after the bus stop take the next left turn, above the sports field past the tennis court and right along the road "Im Hessenberg" back to Stertschultenhof.
