The Brilon Hiking Trail (B1) runs along Rochusstraße and Burhagener Weg, leading into the beautifully idyllic Hillbringse area. The Hiebammenhütte is the perfect place to stop for a break. Following the Rothaarsteig, you’ll reach the Borberg—a highlight featuring archaeological finds, the impressive Marienkapelle, and a breathtaking panoramic view. The loop trail eventually winds back to the starting point in Brilon, promising a wonderful hiking experience in the heart of the Sauerland.

Hanover – A2 to the Bielefeld interchange – A33 to the Wünnenberg-Haaren interchange
and continue on the B480 to Brilon
From the east:
A44 from Kassel to the Wünnenberg-Haaren interchange, then continue on the B480 to Brilon, or take the Marsberg exit and continue on the B7 to Brilon
From the south:
to Kassel, then continue on the A44 to the Wünnenberg-Haaren interchange, or take the exit at the Marsberg junction and continue on the B7 to Brilon
