You’ll start the tour in the center of Bracht at St. Marien Church with its unusual onion-domed tower. Mostly gravel forest trails through sometimes dense spruce forests lead you to the Lauschpöhlen, where you’ll hear stories about the “Kriegerweg/Heidenstraße,” Christine Koch, the Ross family from Werntrop, and the legendary “Drama around the Greitemann.”
