Use of the winter hiking trails is at your own risk. Please note that the paths can be slippery and slippery in places despite being cleared. The winter hiking trails are usually cleared after 10 cm of fresh snow.
A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and hiking signs.

How to get there
From Schmallenberg Oberkirchen, take the L640 and turn left in Inderlenne onto the K18 towards Nordenau. From Winterberg, take the B236 and turn onto the K18 towards Altastenberg and stay on this road until Nordenau.

Parking is available at the church in the center of the village.
