The tour leads for a total of 7 km through the Kyrilltor into the Brilon Bürgerwald, then up to the Brilon Poppenberg. Behind the ski hut there is a fantastic view of Brilon. The route continues past the Bergkreuz to the Hiebammen Hütte before continuing through the Gimmental valley along the Hilbringse back to the starting point.

Directions

Go through the Kyrill-Tor and immediately left up to the landscape window. Then follow the green triangle until you reach the Poppenberg in Brilon. A short detour to the swing on the landscape therapy trail above the Möhnequelle is worthwhile. Then follow the GP2 sign - past the ski hut, the mountain cross and in a loop to the Hiebammen Hütte. Then follow the Sauerland-Waldroute back to the starting point.
