A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and on the hiking signs.

Public transit
The hiking bus of the Schmallenberg Sauerland runs in Schanze (separate timetable, closed on Mondays).
With the Schmallenberg Sauerland Card you can use the hiking bus free of charge.
There is no local public transport.
How to get there
In the center of Schmallenberg - Grafschaft, turn towards Schanze (into the street "Am Stünzel") and stay on the road until you reach Schanze.
