Safety guidelines
A system of emergency aid stations has been set up in the Hochsauerland district. You can find these emergency aid stations on information boards at intersections and on hiking trail signs, among other places.
Author Tip
The Kyrill Trail was also created in this small town; this 1-kilometer-long trail peacefully illustrates the storm’s natural force. For children, the highlight is the “ship’s bow” made from a shattered tree.
