A scenic loop hike from Schmallenberg via the Mythenweg to Wormbach.
Information
Directions
From the starting point, take the first path to the right and then follow the Mythenweg to Wormbach. From Wormbach, continue along the Mythenweg until you reach the chapel, where you’ll turn left onto the Mythenweg toward the airfield. From the Rennefeld glider and powered-flight airfield, enjoy the magnificent view. This trail will lead you back to the starting point.
Equipment
We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and bringing plenty of food.
Safety guidelines
A system of emergency aid stations has been set up in the Hochsauerland district. You can find these emergency aid stations on information boards at intersections and on hiking trail signs, among other places.
Author Tip
A visit to the historic St. Peter & Paul Parish Church in Wormbach is well worth it.
