The trail leads from Stryck through the beautiful winter landscape up to Ettelsberg and back through Paradies to the starting point
From Stryck, the trail climbs uphill for the first kilometer to the inrun tower of the Mühlenkopfschanze. From there, the trail leads to the “Große Grube,” a prominent hiking junction. At an elevation of 800 m, the trail continues to the Lütteke Feld. From there, the descent begins through the “Paradies” back into the Strycktal. Passing the landing area of the Mühlenkopfschanze, you reach the starting point.
We recommend sturdy shoes with good traction, weather-appropriate clothing, hiking poles, a backpack with snacks, and plenty of fluids (water, tea).
Designated winter hiking trails are cleared or groomed. Depending on weather conditions (heavy snowfall), this may be slightly delayed, as traffic flow takes priority.
