Kirchplatz Hiking Sign—cross the street at the crosswalk right next to the hiking sign and follow BF 1. The trail leads downhill along Mothmecke until you reach a left-hand curve. Here, keep to the right, and after a few meters, take the trail to the left downhill toward the mini-golf course. Keeping to the right, you’ll reach the street “An der Lied.” Leave trail BF 1 here. Keep to the right and walk up “An der Lied” until you reach Buchhagenweg. Continue straight through Buchhagenweg, climbing steadily (about 800 m), until you reach the forest. Stay on the wide path, which leads you along a relatively flat stretch for a good 700 m to the “Buchhagen” hiking parking lot. Now keep left to follow the A4 for about 600 m toward the Buchhagen Chapel. After a short climb on a trail, keep left and walk along the wide, flat path to the Buchhagen Chapel. Follow the same path back to the starting point of your hike.
