Survey on the Sauerland-Seelenorte - understanding the emotional experience of nature
What makes the Sauerland-Seelenorte so special? As part of a research project by Witten/Herdecke University in cooperation with Sauerland-Tourismus e.V., we are investigating how visitors perceive these places - in particular the emotional experience and its effect.
To this end, visitors are asked to take part in an anonymous online survey (duration: approx. 15 minutes). The results will help us to further develop the range of services around the Places of the Soul and to better understand how natural places touch and affect people.
All data will be treated confidentially and will only be analyzed anonymously - data protection and confidentiality are fully guaranteed.
This stage of the Rothaarsteig starts from Bruchhausen - hikers' parking lot at the entrance to the Europa-Golddorf. To get to the Rothaarsteig from there, first walk uphill past the Rosencafé in the middle of the village. Below the edge of the forest, you reach the course of the Rothaarsteig. The path is then well marked and leads uphill towards Langerberg and Winterberg above the village to the Richtplatz. After a rest, the trail continues uphill to the Langenberg, the highest mountain in NRW. On the 843m above sea level Langenberg, a beautiful rest area with a summit cross offers the opportunity to take a break. The route then continues through the Hocheide area to the Hochheidehütte hut above Niedersfeld. You can then walk along well-marked paths to the town center of Niederfeld and use the public transport connections there.
