This circular trail is also known as the Panorama Trail. Not through the forest, but mainly along the forest, always with an unobstructed view of the open fields, there are beautiful close-up and distant views along almost its entire length.
A side detour of approx. 150 m takes you to the most beautiful viewpoint on the "Nordhelle". The entire Dreislar meadow is a bird sanctuary. With a bit of luck, you may even spot great grey shrikes and red-backed shrikes. The ascents and descents are relatively easy to manage.

- From the north: A7, A2, A33 to Wünnenberg-Haaren junction, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
- From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel, exit Werl junction, A445 Meschede to Bestwig, Olsberg, direction Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
- From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
