The winter hiking trails in the Medebach vacation region do not have any special trail markings, but they can be easily hiked using the map provided here or the GPX track and are also easily recognizable as their course is cleared of snow.

Directions
The winter hike begins at the Orketal village center hiking portal (Orkestraße). We walk to the left and cross the turning country road at Hotel Kaiserhof to follow the road "Zum Orketal" for about 200 m. At the fork in the road, we keep right and continue along Burgstraße, turning right after about 700 m. Follow the path for approx. 800 m, cross Kreuzherrenstraße (K56) and continue straight ahead for a further 600m. Then turn right into Hammweg, pass the cemetery on the left, then turn right again into Orkestraße and finally return to the starting point.

- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg then to Züschen, Liesen, Hesborn.
