Glindfeld Chapel
Glindfeld Chapel
Park your car at the chapel in Glindfeld and turn towards Gut Glindfeld. Cross the road here and then turn right along the old monastery wall of the estate, initially following the x13 hiking sign. At the fork in the path at the edge of the forest, continue right on the M1 until you reach the beginning of the tarred path. Turn left there and follow the x13 to the chapel. There is a particularly calming atmosphere at Am Kahlen. The silence at the small chapel and on the forecourt invites you to contemplate. The small burial chapel can be seen slightly below. The small bench offers a place to rest and enjoy the view of the valley. Back to the Kahlenkapelle chapel, the path leads us steeply downhill along the baroque Stations of the Cross and straight on back to the monastery wall. Do not turn right here, but continue along the wall around the entire monastery to the country road. Turn right here but carefully left along the side of the road back to the Glindfeld chapel. This is always open and can be visited at the end of the tour.
No public transportation.
